With only 3 weeks remaining until the admission exam for architecture at UAUIM, all the knowledge and drawing experience accumulated by now is directly confronted with emotions and time pressure. This will be the challenge for which all have been preparing hundreds of hours. Thinking at the great effort put into your architectural initiatives, the responsibility for this exam may seem bigger than ever. What should you focus on in the time left? Let’s find out which is the best approach to the summer preparation!
1. General revision
Have a look on all your drawings and subjects. Make a list with all the aspects which are unclear, then try to study them carefully or ask for your teacher’s help. Also, check out the architectural monuments, make quick sketches to be sure you can remember them at the exam.
Here are a list of monuments and drawing examples: Sketching architectural monuments
2. Diversify your work
Search for different examples of subjects and solve the ones which seem most difficult and intriguing. Broad experience with a large variety of subjects will give you more confidence and useful knowledge.

3. Improve the layout and drawing techniques
Pay attention to the aesthetic side of architectural drawing. Make sure your drawing will stand out with excellent layout, hachures and colour schemes.
4. Search for examples
Seeing more drawing styles may inspire you to develop your own style.

I wish everyone good luck with the exam and hopefully we will meet in October in the university you wish to study at!
